Thanks to the Royal Microscopical Society, at GLPA we currently have 8 microscopes on loan until the end of the summer term. This afternoon, Willow Class were given an opportunity to use the microscopes to get a closer look at a number of everyday things, such as sand, sugar, flowers and even a wasp. There were a few ‘Wow!’ moments as the children saw the tiny details that the eye can’t normally see. In the coming weeks, we’ll continue to explore the microscopic world, focussing on our plants topic.
Blog Question: What would you like to see under the microscope?
